Emilee and Sage’s story began in August 2019 at a bar in Lubbock, Texas. Not long after they met, Emilee disappeared for two weeks due to sorority recruitment, and the two didn’t reconnect until classes resumed. After a few weeks of crossing paths, they finally shared their first kiss one Thursday night at The Library—a cleverly named bar in Lubbock. A few weeks later, Sage introduced Emilee to his parents, and from there, everything fell into place.

Today, Emilee and Sage live in North Fort Worth with their beloved dog, Kobe.

Sage asked Emilee to marry him in front of the Christmas tree at Hotel Vin in Grapevine’s Town Square, and to Emilee’s surprise, her family appeared moments after she said yes. The night ended with dinner, laughter, and joyful celebration with those they love most.
